American Exports: Gabriel Farfan hoping to make Liga MX debut for Chiapas FC at Club Tijuana

GUADALAJARA, Mexico – Up to six Americans could be involved on Friday as Club Tijuana take on Chiapas FC at Estadio Caliente (10:30 pm ET, ESPN Deportes, Azteca America).

Paul Arriola, Joe Corona, Edgar Castillo, Herculez Gomez and Greg Garza could all potentially earn minutes for Xolos, while Gabriel Farfan (above) is closing in on full fitness and his Liga MX debut for Chiapas

Earlier Friday, Michael Farfan and Liga MX leaders Cruz Azul head to Querétaro (8:30 pm ET, ESPN Deportes, Azteca America).

On Saturday, Liga MX’s bottom-feeders Tigres UANL host Veracruz, with Jose Torres still waiting for his first start of the season in league play (8 pm ET, UniMas).



In the final game of the weekend in the Liga MX, Jonathan Bornstein’s Atlante need three points at home against DaMarcus Beasley's and Michael Orozco's Puebla, with time running out in the race against relegation (Sunday, 6 pm ET, Univision Deportes).

In the second division, Jose Villareal could debut for Cruz Azul Hidalgo on Saturday in their game at Zacatepec (8 pm ET).


Also in the Ascenso MX, Lobos BUAP’s Marco Vidal and Daniel Cuevas host Dorados de Sinaloa (Friday, 6 pm ET), with Necaxa – featuring Sonny Guadarrama and Ventura Alvarado – in action on Friday at home to Celaya.
