AMSTERDAM – A late equalizer cost Tim Howard and Everton in a 1-1 Premier League draw away to West Bromwich Albion on Monday night.

The USMNT No. 1 'keeper, who made five saves look easy on the night, was 15 minutes away from regaining sole possession of the league lead in shutouts when Uruguayan defender Diego Lugano crashed home a header to level matters.

In settling for a draw, the Toffees missed a chance to climb into fourth place. Nevertheless, Howard & Co. remained unbeaten in their last six away matches and in their last five overall.
