POLL: Which USMNT star will be next to follow Clint Dempsey, Michael Bradley to MLS? | SIDELINE

Clint Dempsey and Michael Bradley stretch together before USMNT game

In just the last six months, US national team stars Clint Dempsey and Michael Bradley have each made the decision to return to Major League Soccer, and help grow their country's domestic league.

Who will be the next USMNT star to make a move to MLS?

The two signings represent a pair of massive coups for the league, bringing two of the USMNT's most influential players, each of whom started their professional careers in MLS, during the months leading up to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

USMNT defenders Clarence Goodson and Michael Parkhurst have also made MLS returns within that same timeframe. D.C. United forward Eddie Johnson is perhaps the poster boy for successfully throwing it back to MLS after revitalizing his career with a 2012 homecoming

Talk over recent weeks lists Schalke midfielder Jermaine Jones as a potential prospect to land in MLS before the start of the 2014 season, and on Wednesday, Stoke City midfielder Maurice Edu's name began floating around with a reportedly imminent move back to MLS, where he started his pro career with Toronto FC in 2007.

So the question is simple: who's the next USMNT star to follow suit and make a move to MLS, and where should they land? Tell us what you think in the poll above, and share your thoughts in the comments below.
