SuperDraft: Marlon Hairston makes Top 10 in physical tests at 2014 adidas MLS Player Combine

LAUDERHILL, Fla. -- University of Louisville midfielder Marlon Hairston stood out as one of the most impressive athletes on the field during Friday's opening doubleheader of the 2014 adidas MLS Player Combine.


And the numbers back it up.


The results of the Combine physical testing -- tests of speed, agility and vertical jump -- show the 19-year-old Generation adidas signing (above) as the only player to rank in the Top 10 in all three categories.



There were five players who finished in the Top 10 in at least two categories: right back Ryan Neil (speed, agility), center backs Richie Marquez (speed, vertical) and Nick Hagglund (speed, vertical), central midfielder Michael Calderon (speed, agility) and winger Adnan Gabeljic (speed, vertical).
