GUADALAJARA, Mexico – Joe Corona and Herculez Gomez got their preseason with Club Tijuana off to a perfect start by netting a goal apiece in a 2-0 friendly win on Wednesday against sister club Dorados de Sinaloa.

Corona started the game – as did Edgar Castillo – and scored in the 13th minute in the second friendly of the preseason under new coach César Farías.

Gomez’s goal came from the penalty spot in the 24th minute of the second period, shortly after he’d come off the bench.
