The wait is over!

The final game of the 2013 MLS season is here. People will rise and fall in the overall rankings due to the outcome of today's game between Sporting KC and Real Salt Lake. Who you start and who you captain will decide everything.

Who can you trust to deliver in a game of this magnitude? Only time will tell.

You have some important decisions to make. Many will let their heart dictate who's in their starting XI. Others will use gut feeling. And some will turn to the stats.

My lineup (above) has a little bit of all three. I'm going with a RSL-heavy lineup because heart is with this team. My gut says SKC will be in it, but the feeling isn't strong enough to make me change my mind.

Statistics are always important to note and Sporting have been phenomenal at home this year. However, RSL are no slouches either. They earned a clean sheet at Portland in their most recent match and that gives me the confidence to start Tony Beltran, Nat Borchers, Chris Schuler and Nick Rimando at the back.

My captain is Schuler. Is this a risk? Maybe. But not as much as you'd think. He has two goals in 2013, both of which have come within the last three games. He's averaging 10 points in that same stretch and is in phenomenal form.

Who is your captain?
