It appears another Toronto FC player has linked up with a European club for an offseason training stint.
TSN broadcaster Luke Wileman tweeted Wednesday that TFC defender Doniel Henry has started training with English Premier League side West Ham United.
That news comes on the heels of striker Bright Dike’s reported training stint with Celtic FC. When reached for comment by MLSsoccer.com, a TFC official said the “team has no official comment on training stints at this time.”
Henry, the first Toronto FC Academy product to sign with the first team, started a career high 19 games this season and recorded two assists, also a career high.
