U.S. Soccer announced on Wednesday that the Under-17 national team will host Brazil, England, and Portugal at the Nike International Friendlies event December 9-15 in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.

The U-17s will take on Portugal on December 9, before playing England two days later and finishing up with a match against Brazil December 13. All matches will take place at 5 pm ET, and will be streamed live on USsoccer.com

The friendlies will come during the USSDA's Academy Showcase, featuring 79 academy teams, including MLS academy teams, as well as an additional U-17 US national team, who will play three matches against academy sides. The US U-15 national team will also play against academy sides at the showcase, including the New York Red Bulls' U-15/16 side.

For their part, the US U-17 team participating in the Nike International Friendlies event will be looking to take first place for the first time since 2011, after finishing third last year. Portugal won the 2012 Nike International Friendlies.
