Brad Davis as Yoda

The "Forever Orange" confines of Houston's BBVA Compass Stadium make for a fitting venue for the Halloween night Eastern Conference Knockout Round game between the Houston Dynamo and the Montreal Impact on Thursday (8:30 pm ET, NBCSN, TSN/RDS2 in Canada).

But the players will be busy playing for their postseason lives and so we left it to our imagination to dream up the Halloween costumes that could have worked well tonight for some of the most prominent personalities on both teams.

In the meantime, please tell us what other MLS Halloween costumes you think would be most appropriate tonight. Hit the comment section below.

BRAD DAVIS (Houston Dynamo)
As the spiritual leader of the Dynamo, Brad Davis can clearly make a good Yoda. The Jedi-master of the team's midfield, lead them back to the MLS Cup final, he must.

MARCO DI VAIO (Montreal Impact)
With 20 goals this season, Marco Di Vaio has been the Impact's main attacking danger-man. Cold-blooded and efficient in front of net, the Italian forward shares many characteristics with Breaking Bad's teacher turned kingpin Walter White and his alter-ego "Heisenberg." Di Vaio embodies one of White's most famous lines, "I am the danger."

MARCO SCHALLIBAUM (Montreal Impact)
Swiss-born head coach Marco Schällibaum is known for his explosive behavior on the sideline. His outbursts so fiery at times he's earned the nickname "the Swiss Volcano."

WILL BRUIN (Houston Dynamo)
We haven't seen forward Will Bruin's patented "Dancing Bear" goal celebration in a while and that's a shame.

JUSTIN MAPP (Montreal Impact)
Midfielder Justin Mapp has one of the most cultured left foots in the league. It's so good, he often neglects to use his other foot. In this pirate costume, his "right peg" will be just for walking.

DOMINIC KINNEAR (Houston Dynamo)
In honor of the internet tradition of "Throwback Thursday" (#TBT), Dynamo manager Dominic Kinnear can just be himself -- from 1994. The Scotland-born Kinnear was capped 54 times by the United States and there's only one way to describe his '90s hair — world-class.
