American Exports: Michael Bradley on late to help AS Roma stay perfect in Serie A

AMSTERDAM – Michael Bradley came on late to help AS Roma extend their Serie A-record season-opening win streak to 10 games with a 1-0 home victory on Thursday over his former club, Chievo Verona.

The US midfielder, recently back from time on the shelf with an ankle injury, cleanly handled all four of his touches as the Giallorossi made Marco Boriello's 67th-minute goal stand up.

The result saw Roma open a five-point edge atop the table and run their shutout streak to 591 minutes.
