Alex Morgan and Sydney Leroux have just seem to "get" social media.
The US women's national team stars made quite a stir with their joint Halloween costumes last year, wearing matching star-spangled leotards in a playful sendup of US Olympic gymnastics heroes McKayla Maroney and Gabby Douglas.
Posting their outfits on Instagram and sharing a few glimpses of their night out with fellow USWNTers on other social media outlets, they drew more than 3,700 "Likes" and inspired countless amounts of web traffic from fans, admirers and plain old gawkers.
Now Morgan and Leroux have upped the ante even further with their 2013 offering: a tribute to Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke's scandalous routine during the MTV Video Music Awards.
It's hard to imagine a USMNT player or anyone from MLS causing this kind of stir with a Halloween outfit ... or is it?
