Real Salt Lake are getting a new name on the front of their jerseys in 2014 — and they barely had to leave Rio Tinto Stadium to find a new partner.

The Utah club on Monday announced that is has entered into a 10-year "multimillion-dollar agreement" with Sandy-based LifeVantage Corp. to become its shirt sponsor starting next year.

LifeVantage is a publically traded company that deals mainly in nutritional supplements and skin-care products. Its corporate headquarters are roughly a mile from Rio Tinto Stadium. The agreement was first reported by Sports Business Daily on Monday.

“We’re thrilled to partner with LifeVantage for our jersey-front sponsorship,” Real Salt Lake president Bill Manning said in a club statement. “LifeVantage is showing tremendous commitment to Real Salt Lake with this partnership. We’re excited to welcome them to what we call ‘the RSL Family’ and we relish the opportunity to continue to grow the club and the sport with such a vibrant locally based and growing company by our side.”

The new agreement marks an end to the jersey-front sponsorship between Real Salt Lake and XANGO, which had been the club's shirt sponsor since 2006 — the first-ever jersey sponsorship deal in MLS history.

The deal will go into effect on Jan. 1, 2014, with the LifeVantage logo appearing on the front of the club's jersey next season.

On the field, Real Salt Lake open the 2013 MLS Cup Playoffs on Sunday when they travel to the LA Galaxy for the first leg of the Western Conference Semifinals (9 pm ET, ESPN).
