And just like that, with what amounted to a 178th-minute goal, one of Major League Soccer's biggest stars took down one of the music world's biggest stars last night in the main event of the EA Sports FIFA 14 launch party.

FIFA 14 hit shelves in North America at midnight on Tuesday, boasting of many new additions to the 2014 edition of the game.

New York Red Bulls midfielder Tim Cahill and Canadian recording artist Drake played their first 90 minutes on Monday night to a 2-2 draw and needed another 88 minutes to find the golden goal winner. Cahill rightly credits his children for preparing him to be victorious on the night.

EA Sports and MLS also unveiled the fan-voted, MLS-specific downloadable cover for the 2014 version of FIFA. MLS fans chose Blas Perez, Tim Cahill, Clint Dempsey and Jack McInerney. Get yours, as well as a version for all 19 teams, on the MLS Facebook page.
