It's on to the next one for European vagabond Oguchi Onyewu after the 31-year-old center back parted ways Sporting Lisbon by mutual consent.
Onyewu spent last season on loan with Malaga, finding playing time hard to come by in La Liga while making his eighth European stop and notching a seventh country of residence as well.

In a interview with the Washington Post in June, Onyewu seemed intent on finding another opportunity in Europe. He played one match for the United States during this summer's Gold Cup before being removed from the squad following the group stage.
