Castrol Index Weekly Top 20: Hat trick hero Robbie Keane leads LA Galaxy takeover

The LA Galaxy sent a message to the rest of the league with their 4-2 trouncing of Real Salt Lake on Saturday, and the defending MLS Cup champs laid down a similar marker in the Castrol Index Top 20.

Robbie Keane's hat trick exploits powered him to the top of this week's list with a whopping 2,227 points, well ahead of his closest pursuer, Red Bulls goalkeeper Luis Robles, who finished at the 1,670 mark for his clean sheet against Philadelphia.

Two other 'keepers, Revolution veteran Matt Reis and the Union's Zac MacMath, followed him, while Montreal striker Marco Di Vaio rounded out the Top 5.

Just a bit further back, Keane's teammates Omar Gonzalez and Landon Donovan racked up the points to garner the seventh and eighth spots in a banner week for the Galaxy.
