American Exports: Roma keen on keeping Michael Bradley, despite Everton's interest

Michael Bradley in action during the All-Star Game

AMSTERDAM – Everton have been turned away after making an approach for AS Roma midfielder Michael Bradley, MLSsoccer.com has learned.

According to a source close to the club, the US star has become a fast favorite of new manager Rudi Garcia and can expect frequent use during the coming campaign.

The Toffees, presumably looking to replace hot transfer topic Marouane Fellaini, were firmly told that Bradley is not for sale. It was not the first time Everton have prowled for the 26-year-old Bradley, having also shown interest back when he was with Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Bradley and Roma will open the Serie A season with an August 15 trip to promoted Livorno.
