MLS WORKS at the 2013 AT&T MLS All-Star Game

While visiting Kansas City, guests were reminded of Major League Soccer's commitment to tolerance.  Fans were encouraged to Take a Stand for Soccer by taking the Don’t Cross the Line pledge.  By first kick of Wednesday’s 2013 AT&T MLS All-Star game, more than 1,000 fans joined MLS and AS Roma in their stand against discrimination.  Watch MLS All-Stars take the pledge.

MLS WORKS at the 2013 AT&T MLS All-Star Game -

MLS WORKS joined Sporting Kansas City and the Sporting Club Network to dedicate two newly constructed futsal courts on Tuesday at Wyandotte High School as part of the 2013 MLS All-Star Community Day.  The day began with an eight-team youth tournament consisting of teams from the 8th street YMCA and local youth soccer clubs.  Community residents and families of the tournament participants enjoyed a carnival-like atmosphere while they rooted for their favorite team.  Watch more.

Prior to Wednesday's 2013 AT&T MLS All-Star Game, Sporting KC players Chance Myers and Seth Sinovic visited patients at Childrens Mercy Hospital.  Accompanied by Kansas City's favorite mascot, Blue, the Sporting KC players delivered 2013 AT&T MLS All-Star scarves to kids in the Hematology and Oncology (HEMOC) division.

The MLS WORKS Community MVP Grand Prize winner was honored during halftime of Wednesday's 2013 AT&T MLS All-Star Game. Congratulations to Bobby Samra representing the Vancouver Whitecaps FC! Bobby won $20,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  Read more about this year's Community MVP
