Dax McCarty channels his inner Macklemore for new Microsoft "Shirts Off" video series | THE SIDELINE

We all saw Macklemore do his thing at the Power&Light District on Monday night as part of All-Star week leading up to Wednesday night's 2013 MLS All-Star Game in Kansas City (9 pm, ESPN2, UniMas TSN/RDS). The Seattle-born rapper rocked the stage in front of nearly 10,000 fans in the heart of Kansas City, and in doing so, must have inspired one MLS star to emulate his often-times unique fashion sense.

Microsoft released a new video series on Monday, titled "Shirts Off," in which the computer technology company's video crew follows a handful of MLS stars to see what they like to do once "the shirts come off." In one of the three videos in the mini-series, New York Red Bulls midfielder Dax McCarty — who seems to enjoy doing nothing but being an awesome, super chill dude that plays ping pong and scores diving headers — shows no shame and willingly sacrifices himself in the name of ... fashion (see above).

Also featured are LA Galaxy defender Omar Gonzalez — who, in the name of taking care of his body, fancies himself as a great cook alongside his girlfriend, Erica — and Seattle Sounders midfielder Steve Zakuani — a rapper and music producer hailing from North London's "inner-city" Tottenham.
