AT&T Goal of the Week update: DeAndre Yedlin leads Gyasi Zardes as deadline looms


DeAndre Yedlin got his first career MLS goal last weekend, and now he’s poised to grab his first Goal of the Week honor.

The Seattle Sounders rookie right back leads the pack with nearly 43 percent of the vote for the AT&T Goal of the Week for 21. Voting closes at midnight pacific time on Thursday night.

LA Galaxy rookie Gyasi Zardes trails in second with nearly 30 percent of the voting.

Here’s how the voting stands at 11 am ET on Thursday, with 14 hours left to cast your vote.

1. DeAndre Yedlin (SEA) 42.72%

2. Gyasi Zardes (LA) 29.74%

3. Luis Silva (DCU) 11.13%

4. Chris Rolfe (CHI) 9.57%

5. Nick LaBrocca (COL) 6.84%

The winner is determined by the total number of votes cast online and in text voting, and is announced on Fridays.
