Dream Team formation: (5-4-1)

Top Player: Drew Moor – 15 points

Defenders (5)

It was a good week for defenders as 18 players scored eight points or more. Four of them hit double-digit tallies, including this week’s leader, Drew Moor. Moor had 15 points over a two-game stretch without recording a clean sheet in either match.

José Gonçalves, Ike Opara and DeAndre Yedlin also found the back of the net, while Toronto’s Steven Caldwell grabbed the final spot with a respectable nine points. Anyone interested in TFC defenders now?

Midfielders (4)

Joel Lindpere had another two-assist performance, adding a goal as well to lead all midfielders with 14 points. All five of his assists this season have come in last five games.

Colorado’s Nick LaBrocca played back-to-back 90-minute games in Round 22. He scored a goal against New England and added an assist against Seattle to end the week in second place among midfielders (13 points).

Chris Rolfe (two goals) and Lee Nguyen (two assists) ended the week with 12 points each to round out the group.

Forwards (1)

Considering the double-game-week for three teams, it was an extremely low-scoring round for forwards. Diego Fagundez scored a late goal in New England’s second game to finish as the top striker with eight points.

Goalkeeper – Bobby Shuttleworth (11 points)

Shuttleworth ended with 11 points, one point ahead of Toronto FC’s Joe Bendik (10 points). This is his second DT appearance this season.

Congratulations to Richard Amicci (Shoug FC) who finished Round 22 with 102 points. Richard had three players from the DT and Lee Nguyen was his captain.

*Dream Team subject to change. All point totals are finalized Wednesday for Rounds ending on Sunday.
