PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: If you are getting married in the Dallas/Fort Worth area anytime soon, there are probably better options for musical entertainment at the reception than FC Dallas players.
The point of the above video was for various FC Dallas players to listen to a clip from a couple songs and "name that tune." What really happened, though, was defenders George John and Walker Zimmerman, and forward Blas Pérez turned the video booth into a karaoke session.
The first song was Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." John was, shall we say, less than stellar; and Zimmerman was right on beat like he listened to the gut-wrenching love ballad as his mother drove him to training that morning.
You can tell, though, that Pérez has grabbed the microphone at a family member's wedding reception and belted out a Spanish rock hit or two in his day, complete with appropriate dance moves, claps and finger snaps.
However, if you're looking to start a bar trivia team and hoping to score some cold, hard cash for winning, these guys might not be bad at identifying tunes in the montage round.
