Thanks to AT&T and Blackberry, Major League Soccer fans in Kansas City for the 2013 MLS All-Star Game later this month will treated to yet another free, live show at the downtown Power & Light District. The concert is just one part of a five-day fan festival culminating with the July 31 All-Star Game.
MLS announced on Friday that international music sensation — and one of the hottest acts going right now — Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will put on a free show for the city and the country's soccer fans on Monday, July 29, just two days before the All-Star Game matchup against AS Roma at Sporting Park in Kansas City.
The Macklemore concert, which by the way is to be streamed live on MLSsoccer.com, will come a day prior to another free show at Power & Light, which will see Silversun Pickups and special, local guest Radkey take the stage the night before the game, July 30.
“AT&T is thrilled to help bring such stellar acts as Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, as well as Silversun Pickups, to the heart of Kansas City as part of our sponsorship of this year’s AT&T MLS All-Star Game festivities,” said John Sondag, president of AT&T Missouri.
