The Houston Dynamo have waived midfielder Luiz Camargo, the club announced Wednesday.
Camargo, 26, appeared in 47 games, including playoffs, over three seasons with the Dynamo. During that time, Camargo totaled one goal and five assists, including assists in each of the Dynamo's Eastern Conference Championship wins, in 2011 and 202. The midfielder was acquired on loan in July 2011 from Paraná Clube in Brazil.
The Brazilian had seen his role reduced in 2013, totaling just 108 minutes over seven substitute appearances.
