Tigres UANL tweet that Jose Francisco Torres has been called up for the Gold Cup | THE SIDELINE

The names are starting to leak out for the US men's national team roster for the 2013 Gold Cup.

The official Twitter feed of Tigres UANL, where US midfielder Jose Francisco Torres (No. 16, above) plies his trade, tweeted that the Texan had been called up the USMNT squad for the July tournament.

Of course, we saw the same Tigres feed tweet that the club had purchased FC Dallas goalkeeper Richard Sanchez, a report that has so far not turned out to be true. So maybe we file this one under the "wait and see" category, but it certainly wouldn't be a surprise, given Torres his been a solid presence for Tigres and his place on the outer edges of the USMNT pool.

Though Canada released their roster earlier Tuesday, 23-man rosters for all 12 competing nations will be announced on Thursday.
