American Exports: Josh Gatt stars, but Molde's season of discontent continues in Norway

Josh Gatt of Molde

ISTANBUL – Molde FK winger Josh Gatt enjoyed perhaps his finest outing of the Tippeligaen season thus far, but it wasn't quite enough as the holders were made to rally at the death for a 3-3 share at Vålerenga on Saturday.

The US international was buzzing throughout his full shift, with a 28th-minute assist on the visitors' first equalizer and two other set-ups that went begging for a quality finish. The result lifted Molde one rung to 14th place.

Elsewhere, Mikkel Diskerud worked 78 strong minutes in midfield as second place Rosenborg closed the gap with a 1-0 home victory over table-toppers Strømsgodset. The Troll Kids now stand two points off the top through 13 games.
