NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION vs REAL SALT LAKE
GILLETTE STADIUM, Foxborough, Mass.
April 25, 2015 (WEEK 8, MLS Game #69)
7:30 p.m. ET (MLS LIVE)

A compelling intraconference match is ahead when the New England Revolution play host to Real Salt Lake on Saturday evening at Gillette Stadium. MLS Cup finalists last year, the Revolution have now reeled off five consecutive games without loss, coming back for a 2-1 at Philadelphia Union last weekend. The Western Conference representatives in MLS Cup two seasons ago, Real saw their undefeated start to the 2015 season come to an end last week in a 1-0 home loss to Vancouver Whitecaps FC.

  • The Revolution extended their undefeated streak to five matches, returning to their winning ways with a 2-1 come-from-behind victory at Philadelphia Union on Sunday afternoon. The Revolution conceded their first goal in 250 minutes, the fifth-longest shutout streak in MLS this season, in the win.
  • RSL suffered their first defeat of the 2015 campaign, falling 1-0 to Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday evening at Rio Tinto Stadium. RSL were shut out at the attacking end for a second consecutive game.
  • RSL has a seven-game undefeated streak alive in the series, the Revolution’s last victory coming in 2009 in a 3-1 victory at Gillette Stadium. RSL has won six of the seven meetings since, with one draw, including victories each of the last three seasons in the lone meeting between the clubs.
  • The Claret-and-Cobalt has won on each of their last three visits to Foxborough, since 2010. The Revolution have never won at Rio Tinto Stadium, their only victories in Utah having come at Rice-Eccles Stadium, the last in 2007.
