Ranking of national team coaches sees Bob Bradley well ahead of Jurgen Klinsmann

Bob Bradley and Jurgen Klinsmann

People just love rankings.

How else to explain that there's a website that has come up with a formula to rank club coaches and national team coaches called CoachWorldRanking.com.

Once a month, they release their national team coaches ranking and the latest edition sees American Bob Bradley, who is leading Egypt's World Cup qualification bid, at No. 5 overall in the world with current USMNT manager Jurgen Klinsmann coming up at No. 57.

According to the site, the calculations are based on international matches that also count toward FIFA World Rankings and the results are weighted based on the importance of the match and the strength of the tournament or confederation in question.

But before you get carried away with how relevant those rankings really are: Their ranking of US club coaches sees Connor Lade at No. 7. Yes, that's New York Red Bulls fullback Connor Lade.

Lade is also No. 418 in the world. Impressive for someone who is in his second year as a professional ... player.
