Brad Guzan celebrates during Aston Villa's rout of Sunderland

AMSTERDAM – Brad Guzan and Aston Villa posted their biggest victory in more than five years on Monday, moving to the brink of clinching Premier League survival with a 6-1 rout of visiting Sunderland.

In part thanks to a second-half hat trick by Christian Benteke, the US netminder required only one save to log his fourth victory in the last seven games.
