AMSTERDAM – The father of Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona midfielder Bryan Gerzicich has confirmed a Washington Post report that his son is interested in moving to Major League Soccer this summer, but added that there is already a pre-deal offer from Belgium to consider.
The 28-year-old Los Angeles-born, Argentina-raised holding mid will be a free agent at season's end.
"He has an offer to play in Belgium, he is waiting for an American negotiator who can make an offer from MLS," Juan Gerzicich e-mailed MLSsoccer.com on Monday. "I believe that it's possible, he wants to go [to play in America]. An important stage in Israel is already finished for him."

Gerzicich was a key member of last season's Ligat Ha'Al title-winning team and has also twice raised the State Cup – Israel's version of a league cup – since arriving at Hapoel in the summer of 2010.
The defending champs currently stand fourth in the table, seven points shy of the last Europa League slot, with six games remaining in Israel's championship playoff. Gerzicich and his teammates will welcome Ironi Nir Ramat HaSharon on Saturday before hosting a State Cup semifinal with Hapoel Haifa on April 17.
