Defending MLS Cup champions LA Galaxy to visit White House on March 26

For the second consecutive year, the LA Galaxy will be welcomed by President Obama at the White House to honor their MLS Cup championship campaign.

The ceremony honoring the Galaxy will be a joint event with another group of Los Angeles-based champions, the NHL's Stanley Cup-winning Kings, on March 26. In addition to meeting President Obama and receiving recognition for their sporting accomplishments, the Galaxy and Kings will also participate in a "Let's Move" clinic on the South Lawn with children from three programs: Soccer for Success, America SCORES, and Hockey is for Everyone.

The ceremony will begin at 1:35 pm ET, and the "Let's Move" clinic will follow at 2:30 pm.
