Kei Kamara has been spending some time across the Atlantic this week, but not in his native Sierra Leone.
Sporting Kansas City have confirmed to MLSsoccer.com that the forward is in England for a week-long training stint with Premier League side Stoke City, who visited Livestrong Sporting Park this past summer for an exhibition match.
Kamara, who did not play in the 1-1 draw against the Potters in August, will be back in Kansas City this weekend for a screening of his film, Kei, and an auction benefitting his Schools for Salone charity.
The training stint comes after Kamara led Sporting with a career-high 11 league goals in 2012.
