American Exports: Miller weighing Swedish, German offers

AMSTERDAM – Impending Halmstads BK free agent Ryan Miller is currently weighing an extension offer from the Swedish risers against German opportunities, MLSsoccer.com has learned.

Having helped the club bounce back to the Allsvenskan last month, the 27-year-old right back is now being courted by a pair of 2.Bundesliga sides.

"Of course, he also has an offer to continue with Halmstads, who just got promoted," Miller's agent, Eddie Rock told MLSsoccer.com. "We will look over all the options.

"There will probably also be some discussions with MLS clubs, but I think his primary focus is staying in Europe."

Miller has started 67 of 72 league outings in three seasons with HBK since arriving from Ljungskile in 2010. The Illinois native was drafted in the third round of the 2008 SuperDraft by the Columbus Crew, and eventually made three cup appearances for D.C. United.
