Canada's men's national team may not have a coach yet, but the team will press on with a friendly in January against Denmark in the Grand Canyon State.

The Canadian Soccer Association announced on Monday that the national team will face the Danes on Jan. 26 at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium in Tuscon, Ariz., their first match of 2013 as they look forward to next summer's CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Canada have been without a head coach since Stephen Hart resigned last month following the 8-1 loss in Honduras that ended Canada’s aspirations of reaching the 2014 World Cup. The CSA has said it will be announcing who will be in charge for the Denmark friendly at a later date.

The squad will also be announced later and may see some new faces since the game doesn’t fall on an international date and European clubs won’t be obligated to release players for it.

Denmark are currently in second-to-last place in Group B of UEFA's World Cup qualifying tournament and are set to resume that campaign in March. In addition to the Canada friendly, they will also face Mexico on Jan. 30 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.
