The upcoming Aug. 11 match between the Columbus Crew and Toronto FC has been postponed, Major League Soccer announced Thursday evening.
The game, set for 7:30 pm ET on Saturday evening, will be pushed back a week and a half to allow Crew players and staff to attend the funeral of rookie midfielder Kirk Urso, who passed away in the early hours of the morning on Aug. 5
Both clubs agreed to the postponement, and the game will be played at Crew Stadium on Wednesday, Aug. 22, at 7:30 pm ET. All tickets for the Aug. 11 game will be honored on the new date.
