American Exports: O'Brien goes full 90 for Danish leaders

Conor O'Brien and SønderjyskE celebrate

HAMBURG, Germany – Conor O'Brien worked a strong 90 minutes in central park as early Danish leaders SønderjyskE scored a 2-1 victory at Esbjerg on Saturday afternoon. Mere moments after the American buzzed the home net with a header, Bjørn Paulsen beat the final whistle with the winner to keep the club in first place through three games on goal differential.

Over in Norway, Josh Gatt returned to the lineup with a full shift in Molde FK's 1-1 draw at Lillestrøm. The visitors led up until the last minute, but conceded to fall six points adrift of the Tippeligaen top spot.

Finally, in Belgium, Sacha Kljestan was an unused sub as Anderlecht rallied near time for a 1-1 draw at 10-man Kortrijk.
