MONTREAL — The Impact have been logging lots of miles since the beginning of the season, with six of their first eight league games coming on the road.
The last game of that grueling odyssey will come on Wednesday against D.C. United at RFK Stadium (7:30 pm ET; watch LIVE online). Head coach Jesse Marsch is determined to go into an extended run of games at home on a high note.

“We’re going there to get a result. Bottom line,” Marsch said.
Last Saturday’s game between D.C. and the New England Revolution, a 2-1 United win, saw United leave the kind of space at the back in which tricky Montreal forward Sanna Nyassi could thrive. Free from his hip flexor injury, the Gambian international is ready to help his teammates win in any way possible – and for the full 90 minutes.
“We’ll see how they come out at us. We’re doing video tonight, but on another video I saw a lot of space behind their defense,” Nyassi explained. “So we have to make sure we capitalize on that space to create chances.”
Starting April 28, Montreal will play four of their next six games at the Olympic Stadium. But for now, they're focused on grabbing their first road points of the season against United.
“I think we’ve learned from the last game [a 2-1 loss to FC Dallas] that we need to make sure we have a 90-minute performance, regardless of where the game’s at,” Marsch said. “In the later stages of the game, that we stay focused and understand how to get a result on the road. We’ve had a lot of games, been on the road a lot, and those are certainly factors in where we’re at right now.”
Getting results away from home has been Marsch’s mantra so far this season, but it hasn't paid off just yet. All four of the Impact’s points have been collected in their two games in Montreal, where they are still unbeaten.
