Sacha Kljestan in Anderlecht's 2-1 win over Zulte-Waregem

AMSTERDAM — A few American exports suited up in Europe under Friday night lights, with Sacha Kljestan and Belgian leaders Anderlecht running their Jupiler League unbeaten run to 15 games with a 0-0 derby draw at Standard Liège.

The former Chivas USA man buried a rebound to seemingly open the scoring in the 15th minute, but the play had been negated by an offside flag. Anderlecht nudged their first-place edge to two points with a second consecutive draw to open Belgium's peculiar playoff between the top six teams on the table, but will be passed if second-place Club Brugge win on Sunday.

Over in England's Championship, Robbie Rogers came on for the final five minutes of Leeds United's 2-0 loss at Reading. The loss, their third in four, dropped the White to six points off the promotion playoff pace.

In Dutch second-division play, Charles Kazlauskas returned with 14 relief minutes as red-hot Helmond Sport edged guests FC Volendam 1-0. With six wins in a row, the southerners are close to clinching a promotion playoff spot.
