Mexico will play friendlies against Wales, Bosnia in May

Mexico nailed down the third and fourth matches of their 2012 US tour on Wednesday. The Federación Mexicana de Fútbol (FMF) and Soccer United Marketing (SUM) announced El Tri will play Wales on May 27 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., and Bosnia-Herzegovina on May 31 at Soldier Field in Chicago.

Mexico will also play Colombia on Feb. 29 at Sun Life Stadium in Miami. Each side is expected to field their first-team squads as all three games fall on FIFA international dates. El Tri defeated Venezuela 3-1 in their first action of 2012 at Reliant Stadium in Houston.

José Manuel "Chepo" de la Torre’s squad will begin its CONCACAF qualifying campaign for the 2014 World Cup on June 8 against Guyana and follow that up with a match against El Salvador on June 12.

Mexico have played Wales twice, winning once and drawing the other match. The Welsh will be led by new manager Chris Coleman, and boast a squad that includes Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, Tottenham winger Gareth Bale and Liverpool striker Craig Bellamy. Bosnia will be a more familiar opponent, as El Tri defeated the Balkan side 2-0 in 2011. Manchester City forward Edin Dzeko will lead the line for Bosnia.

An exclusive Visa pre-sale for both games will begin on Friday at 10 am local time online via Ticketmaster or by calling 1-800-745-3000. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Feb. 6 at 11 am ET online via Ticketmaster.
