The Best of 2011 begins on Dec. 19

And then there were three.

What was the Moment of the Year in MLS in 2011?

More than 14,000 votes were cast when we rolled out the first 20 choices for Moment of the Year in MLS on Dec. 16, and we’ve narrowed down the field to the top three choices as we inch closer to revealing the winner on Jan. 1.

So which one will it be?

The Timbers Army singing the national anthem at Portland’s home opener at JELD-WEN Field in April?

How about Kasey Keller’s tribute game, when more than 64,000 fans packed CenturyLink Field in October to honor a legend and saw him produce a vintage performance?

Or maybe it’s the final image of the 2011 season, with David Beckham and the LA Galaxy winning the MLS Cup in front of their home fans at The Home Depot Center in November?

Take your pick and cast your vote now. We’ll close the polls at 11:59 PT on Friday, Dec. 30, and announce the winner on New Year’s Day.

Vote now, vote often. Let your voice be heard, and tell us what you’ll remember from the wonderful year that was.
