In honor of launching the North American Soccer Almanac, MLSsoccer.com is running a Twitter Giveaway the weekend of August 27-28. Dig that Wizards kit out of the closet, dust off the D.C. originals or uncover your classic Crew attire. We want to see you in an old school MLS jersey for a chance to win an adidas match ball.
How it works
To enter, send @MLS a tweet that includes the link to a photo of yourself wearing a vintage #MLS jersey. Your tweet must contain the following three elements to be considered eligible:
(1) @MLS twitter handle
(2) #MLS hashtag
(3) Link to your photo (that includes somebody in MLS/club gear) available on public domain (ex. Twitpic, Lockerz, Yfrog, Photobucket, Flickr, etc.)
The giveaway begins on Saturday, August 27 at 9 AM EST and ends on Sunday, August 28 at 11:59 PM EST. All eligible tweets received will be entered into a drawing from which a winner will be randomly selected to receive an MLS adidas match ball. The winner will be notified by Twitter Direct Message (DM).

Employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents of any Major League Soccer LLC, its member teams, Soccer United Marketing, L.L.C. and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries & affiliated companies and their immediate families and those living in their same household, whether or not related, are not eligible for any @MLS giveaway. @MLS will determine giveaway recipients in its sole and absolute discretion.
If you have received a @MLS giveaway in the last 30 days, you’re not eligible. @MLS may, in its sole and absolute discretion, not give away the goods or ticket(s) or may give the goods or ticket(s) to the next eligible follower.
You will be required to privately (through Twitter direct message or email) provide your name and address if you are selected as a giveaway recipient.
