AMSTERDAM – Oguchi Onyewu enjoyed a winning debut in his first league match on loan to Dutch side FC Twente, going all 90 minutes at the unusual spot of left back as the hosts drilled derby guests Heracles Almelo 5-0 in Eredivisie play.
The US international didn't have a heavy workload, but also did not look out of place on any occasion as the Tukkers strolled, thanks to four Marc Janko strikes.
With the win, Twente maintained their second-place standing and pulled to within a point of leaders PSV Eindhoven.
