The Columbus Crew and Seattle Sounders emerged from the US Open Cup semifinals on Wednesday, setting up a marquee championship showdown on Oct. 5 at Qwest Field in Seattle. The Sounders have done this before, hoisting the trophy in last year's tournament in just their first year on the MLS map, while the Crew earned their stripes by winning the title back in 2002.
