Revs' Sady joins U15 Boys National Team for training

North Andover’s Christian Sady, a defender for the New England Revolution Under-16 soccer team, has joined the United States U15 Boys National Team in Bradenton, Fla., for a 10-day training camp.

Camp began March 14 and is being held alongside U.S. U17 Men’s National Team training. If Sady makes the team, he will be eligible to play in the 2011 FIFA U17 World Cup. He is one of 15 invites from U.S. Soccer’s Development Academy, the organization in which the Revolution youth teams play. Thirty-six players from around the country were invited to participate in the Under-15 training camp.

Sady is expected to rejoin his teammates on the Revs’ U16 team when he returns home after training camp breaks on March 23. The U15 BNT has been training twice per day and will scrimmage the U17 MNT late in the week.
