VOTE FOR KREIS IN THE SIERRA MIST GOAL OF THE WEEK:
RSL invites fans to vote for FW Jason Kreis whose MLS all-time career leading 101st goal on Saturday against the New York Red Bulls was nominated for this week's MLS Sierra Mist Goal of the Week. In the 89th-minute, Kreis headed in a powerful shot off a free kick from the corner by MF Chris Klein to ensure RSL its first point of the 2006 MLS season. BESAGNO CALLED INTO U.S. U-20 NATIONAL TEAM CAMP: RSL DF Nikolas Besagno has been called into the U.S. U-20 Men's National Team camp for its Argentina tour from Tuesday, April 18 to Thursday, April 27. The U-20s will face three Argentine teams including Arsenal de Sarandi (Saturday, April 22), River Plate (Monday, April 24) and the Argentina U-20 Men's National Team (Wednesday, April 26). Besagno was selected first overall in the first round of the 2005 MLS SuperDraft and made his RSL debut in a reserve game friendly against Brigham Young University on April 27, 2005. He started and played 68 minutes in his MLS regular-season debut, a 2-0 loss on June 4 to FC Dallas where he became the second-youngest player to appear in a league contest in MLS history (Freddy Adu).


JERRY SEINER / RSL COACHES SHOW ON KALL 700 AM: RSL invites fans to join RSL players, coaches and front office staff at the Jerry Seiner Salt Lake dealership's Iceberg Café located at 1530 South 500 West every Thursday for the weekly "Jerry Seiner/RSL Coaches Show" at 6:00 p.m. MT. The KALL 700 Bill Riley Show will broadcast LIVE each week at Jerry Seiner Salt Lake from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. MT, with Coach Ellinger and RSL personalities featured during the final hour.


Each week, fans can compete against players, coaches and each other in the X-BOX FIFA 2006 Challenge. Supporters will compete to qualify to play in the Carnival Real X-BOX competition at every home game, where an X-BOX will be given away to the most outstanding player. RSL's home season and the 2006 X-BOX FIFA Challenge begins Saturday, April 15 when RSL takes on the New York Red Bulls at Rice-Eccles Stadium at 7:00 p.m. MT. Carnival Real opens at 6:00 p.m.

REAL ELITE TRAINING PROGRAM: The Real Elite Training Program is a progressive summer training program for boys and girls ages 8-16 with previous playing experience and a strong desire to reach their maximum potential. There are a total of 18 sessions, three days a week, and two and a half hours per day.
