HOUSTON, TX - Houston Dynamo got its second tie of the season on Saturday, rescuing a point in the last minute against New England at Gillette Stadium.
With the 1-1 result, also the second tie in the last three games, the Dynamo (4-3-2) continue to hold the second spot in the Western Conference, with 14 points, seven behind conference leader FC Dallas.
Despite Houston's numerous opportunities during the first half, it was the Revolution who struck first. At the 55th minute, Pat Noonan fed the ball from the right side to Steve Ralston, who slid to push the ball in from the left to put the 1-0 up on the board.
The Dynamo continued pushing, and got its reward at the 86th minute with Ryan Cochrane's first goal of his MLS career. It came after a cross frown Wade Barrett from the left side to the middle of the box.
The next away game for the Dynamo will be on Saturday, June 10, against Red Bull New York.</p>
