FC Dallas Assistant Coach Oscar Pareja and 12 FC Dallas players, through the FC Dallas Foundation, will conduct the second community soccer clinic of the year on Wednesday, April 26 at the Cesar Chavez Learning Center in Dallas. The "Oscar Pareja Community Clinic Series presented by Allstate" is a series of ten clinics organized by the FC Dallas Foundation throughout the year benefiting children in predominantly Hispanic neighborhoods.
Pareja and 12 FC Dallas players will provide free soccer instructions to over 200 kids from the Cesar Chavez Learning Center on the soccer fields at the school from 4-5:30 p.m. In addition to the clinic, the kids will have an opportunity to get player autographs, receive a team poster, and three Kicks for Kids tickets to an FC Dallas game.
The FC Dallas players that will assist Pareja in Wednesday's clinic are: Arturo Alvarez, Roberto Mina, Simo Valakari, Dario Sala, Dominic Oduro, Mario Torres, Mark Wilson, Carlos Ruiz, Kenny Cooper, Chris Gbandi, and Miguel Guante.
The Cesar Chavez Learning Center is located at 1710 N Carroll Ave. in Dallas.
The inaugural clinic was a tremendous success, with over 300 kids from the Hispanic Youth Foundation participating on March 28 at Bishop Dunn High School in Oak Cliff. The Oscar Pareja Community Clinic Series presented by Allstate, is made possible with the support and contributions of businesses and individuals through the FC Dallas Foundation.
