Galaxy fantasy camp: Vagenas visit

Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder Pete Vagenas visited the team's fantasy camp Tuesday.

CARSON, Calif. - Day three of the Galaxy's Adult Fantasy Camp was highlighted by a visit from midfielder Pete Vagenas. Vagenas answered questions about his favorite MLS performances, training techniques and about overall life as an MLS footballer.

Fantasy campers started their third day with coaching from assistant coach Paul Bravo and goalkeeper coach Tim Hanley. Both coaches took their respective campers through drills used during Galaxy training sessions.

The Los Angeles Galaxy kicked off its annual Fantasy Adult Camp on Sunday, December 17, 2006 with a special training session with Galaxy Head Coach Frank Yallop. Players also went through training from 9am to 11:30am, followed by a lunch break from 11:30 to 1:00pm. They ended the day by training again from 1:30pm to 3:30pm with a special guest appearance from 'Heroe's" Jimmy Jean-Louis playing with the fantasy campers in the final game of the day.

Day two was highlighted by a visit by President and General Manager Alexi Lalas, who came on the pitch to take part in the afternoon training sessions. Lalas also stuck around to give the fantasy campers a few words of encouragement to carry them through the remainder of the camp.

Ex Galaxy greats Ralph Perez and Lothar Osiander will be on hand all week to provide professional instruction to all participants. Stay tune for more Galaxy Fantasy Camp updates.
