Fire to celebrate Youth Soccer Night at Toyota Park

BRIDGEVIEW, IL - Chicago Fire Soccer recognizes how important youth soccer programs are in the development of soccer talent in the United States and on Saturday, April 21, the Fire will show their appreciation with a special pre-game Fire Fest and a replica jersey t-shirt give-away for the first 4,000 Fire fans ages 14 and under.

In honor of the Fire's Youth Soccer Night theme, Fire Fest will feature an obstacle course, where young athletes can show off their speed and agility; a prize wheel, filled with great Chicago Fire items, and face painting, so young and old fans alike can show off their spirit with colorful Chicago Fire designs. The one-of-a-kind Radio Disney AM 1300 Party Patrol, including on-air talent such as the "G-Man" and "PK the Cosmic DJ" will be on hand providing music, prizes, and games to get fans pumped up for the red hot Chicago Fire versus Kansas City Wizards match-up.

The Chicago Fire is proud of its own Chicagoland native, Brian Plotkin, who has come up through the youth team ranks, playing for the Chicago Sockers since age 12 and Naperville North High School all four years. Plotkin also participated in the Olympic Development Program in the Chicagoland area as well.
