Kansas City Gets Another Chance to Knock Off Unbeaten New England Saturday at Arrowhead
The Kansas City Wizards and New England Revolution will meet again this Saturday, June 11th at Arrowhead in the second game of their unique mid-season back-to-back, matchup. The game will kickoff at 7:00 p.m. CT as the Wizards put their unbeaten home record on the line against the first place Revolution.

The two sides battled to a 1-1 tie last weekend in New England. Though the Wizards were not able to end the Revs nine-game unbeaten streak (6-0-3 heading into last Saturday's match), they did manage something that no other team had done so far this season and that was to score a goal at Gillette Stadium. In five previous home games, the Revs had not allowed a goal and outscored their opponents 7-0.

This weekend the Wizards hope to accomplish another feat in knocking off the unbeaten Revs and putting a stop to their now ten-game unbeaten streak, while protecting an unbeaten streak of their own. Kansas City is 3-0-2 at home this season and including the final four regular season home games of last season, the Wizards current home unbeaten streak stands at nine games (7-0-2). Their last loss at home was a 2-0 setback against San Jose on August 14, 2004.

Both teams will be at full strength by Saturday with several key personnel returning from CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying matches. New England has been without Clint Dempsey, Pat Noonan and Steve Ralston, while the Wizards have been without Kerry Zavagnin and Josh Wolff, all of whom have been with the U.S. National Team for Qualifying matches against Costa Rica last Saturday and Panama this Wednesday. The Revs have also been missing Avery John who has been with the Trinidad & Tobago National Team for Qualifying.
