GALAXY RESERVES IMPROVE TO 3-0 WITH WIN: The Los Angeles Galaxy reserve squad defeated the Real Salt Lake reserve squad, 3-1, on a sunny Sunday morning in front over 300 fans in Park City, Utah to improve to 3-0 on the year. Galaxy Forward Joseph Ngwenya scored two goals to book end a 63rd minute strike from midfielder Herculez Gomez. Midfielder Ned Grabavoy earned man of the match honors for his two assists in addition to playing the through ball for Ngwenya that forced the penalty kick for the club's first goal.


DONOVAN CALLED INTO U.S. SIDE FOR ENGLAND FRIENDLY MAY 28: Galaxy forward Landon Donovan is among 19 players called in by U.S. National Team head coach Bruce Arena for an international friendly against England on Saturday, May 28 in Chicago. The 23-year-old forward has made 61 previous appearances for the USA, scoring 19 goals.


ALL-STAR BALLOTING UNDERWAY ON MLSNET.COM: Balloting for the 2005 Sierra Mist MLS All-Star is already underway on www.MLSnet.com, the League announced last week. There are several Galaxy players up for consideration at each position for the game, which will pit MLS' finest against England Premier League side Fulham FC on Saturday, July 30 in Columbus.


GALAXY DEPORTIVO BREAKS DOWN ALL THE ACTION SATURDAY: Galaxy Deportivo, The weekly, half-hour Spanish language television show devoted to the Los Angeles Galaxy, can be seen this Saturday, May 21 at 3:30 p.m. on KWHY - Channel 22. Galaxy Deportivo, hosted by Los Angeles area personalities Jaime Motta and Elmer Polanco, can be seen at the same time each and every Saturday on Channel 22.
